Zach Miller droppable? WHIR

Postby BearsFan65 » Wed Dec 01, 2010 12:37 am

12 team PPR league, all TD's = 6 pts. My roster:

QB - E Manning
RB - A Peterson, A Foster, K Williams
WR - R White, M Austin, M Floyd, M Manningham, S Rice
TE - Z Miller (OAK), J Graham
DEF - NYJets
K - R Gould

I'm dropping Graham for Dreessen as a matchup play against Philly (5th most allowed to TE's). Question is whether to hold onto Miller, or drop him too? I like his schedule in weeks 14/15 (JAX, DEN, both giving up a lot to TE's this year). But with the foot injury now seeming worse, the lower leg injury added on....seems he won't be close to 100% at any point. Also dropping Williams for Gerhart with AP questionable, should I be considering dropping Miller for (perhaps) Bradford or Cutler? Not sure if NYG will go run-heavy against the 'Skins this week, and Cutler carved up the Lions first time around. WHIR, thanks!

I think I'd rather have a backup QB with some value/decent matchups than an injured backup (in fantasy, at least) TE who's not a part of the offense at all right now. I'd say make yourself as safe as possible at other positions and then play the matchups at TE. Is Boss available? Who else is on the wire either way? :-?

I agree with WaCoug would rather have a backup QB than a backup TE.
Personally I would drop both of your TEs and pick up Dreesen and Culter
I agree to drop Wiliams and pick up Gerhart

It's important for you to handcuff AP now. Drop Williams for him. I think Zach is droppable...hasn't done much (injury is big part of that) but yeah, I don't think he'll pan out. Play match ups for your TE spot. Get a back up QB definitely!
