OK to drop VJax, HNicks, and RMathews?

10 team Yahoo PPR league with small bench. Need to win next week to guarantee playoffs

I am thinking of doing the following:
1. Dropping R Mathews (even if healthy Tolbert is the man) and picking up Westbrook
2. Dropping HNicks (Out for sure 2 more weeks and I think probably more) picking up Tamme (can play at W/T flex position) OR Branch
3. Dropping VJax (disappointing return last week) picking up Cassel v Den (Don't like Big Ben or Flacco in the def Pit v Bal battle this week)

WW: RBs - B Westbrook, J Stewart, C Ivory, Wells/Hightower, Gerhart, and M Morris
WRs/TEs - Alexander/Amendola, Branch, Mason, Ford/Murphy, Meachem, Walter/Jones/Dreesen, Evans, MThomas(Jax), Hagan, Obomanu, Tamme/White
QBs - Bradford, Kitna, Cassel

My team:
QB Ben Roethlisberger (Pit - QB)
WR Miles Austin (Dal - WR)
WR Santonio Holmes (NYJ - WR)
RB Matt Forte (Chi - RB)
RB Knowshon Moreno (Den - RB)
W/T Pierre Garcon (Ind - WR)
W/R Ronnie Brown (Mia - RB)
BN Joe Flacco (Bal - QB)
BN Randy Moss (Ten - WR)
BN Hakeem Nicks (NYG - WR)
BN Ryan Mathews (SD - RB)
BN Vincent Jackson (SD - WR) NA
K Sebastian Janikowski (Oak - K)
DEF Pittsburgh (Pit - DEF) DEF

Agree with all the moves, but for your team needs I think I'd rather have Cassel first and then Tamme second/if you don't get Cassel and then Westy last. Westy is still a non-starter for you more weeks than not and has some risks of his own attached. Cassel is a better start this week and might be more weeks than not from here on out. Tamme is certainly a better weekly play than Garcon and prolly Brown too, so I think that makes a bit more sense to me than going after Westy and missing two guys who can help you more. Either way, I'd put in all 3 and hope for the best ;-D

Thanks for the help with mine. I agree on WaCoug's point with Cassel. Westbrook isn't going to start for you, but does give you depth if he's healthy. Tamme is a much better play than Garcon, imo. Good luck!

I too agree with the moves...and really like the Cassel play this week! (Nicks was quoted as a week 14 return is "realistic" but has pretty tough matchups vs. PHI in week 15 and at GB week 16 - according to rotoworld)

Agree with one caveat: I'd drop R. Moss before I dropped H. Nicks. Moss hasn't done anything this year even when healthy and the QB situation in Tennessee now isn't going to help him. Nicks is a dead spot on your roster with a remote chance of putting up numbers in the playoffs if he's able to recover quicker than expected, which is to say he's also dropable, he'd just be the next man off to me.

i would drop randy moss before i drop nicks and pick up tamme.
if you want cassel drop big ben or flacco you really dont need 3 qbs. im thinking big ben he's got a brutal schedule.
i would keep ryan matthews but drop vjax for cassel or westbrook. with cassel a priority before westbrook.

I would agree dropping Moss and not Hicks. Moss is useless. Drop one of your QBs if you want Cassel and drop VJax not Matthews.

Please help.
