Manningham or Blount? =WHIR=

Postby thepsychic » Thu Dec 02, 2010 4:07 pm

I have Blount whom I won't be starting in week 13 (the final week of the regular season for my league) and I've been offered Mario Manningham. I'm desperate for a win to make playoffs. Should I do it? This is in a 12-team standard non-ppr league. I need a starting WR2/Flex play and I'm already starting Hillis and Forte and have Jacobs as a backup. I know Blount has a good playoff schedule and Manningham's role will diminish with Steve Smith and Hicks coming back in a week or two. Should I pull the triggers? What do you guys think Blount will do in the next few weeks? Manningham?

Thanks!

I'd go for it if you need a win this week. I expect Blount to do well vs. Was, Det, Sea, but you wouldn't really start him over Hillis/Forte unless they got injured.
Manningham's a good play this week. Get him if he can help you get to the playoffs.

If this is a must win - then you should grab Manningham. Get into the playoffs, then who knows what happens. But you gotta make it first. And just as endzoneblasts said - you're gonna be playing Hillis/Forte anyway.

I agree with the rest. I like Blount but he hasn't been all that great lately and if you need a win, do what it takes to get into the playoffs and then figure out what to do from there.

Please help with mine if you have a chance.
When in doubt, punt!
