Kind of a tricky call here for me, and I'm kind of thinking Freeman may present the best combination of factors.
Eli didn't do much last week until the 4th Quarter, and I could see them again relying on the run with their top 2 WR still out. If not for 2 late TD's, Eli would have had a 7 pt fantasy day.
Bradford has looked great and plays a bad Arizona defense, but I could see the Rams doing with the 49ers did and just running the ball down their throat, thus limiting his passing yds and TD's.
Freeman, while playing against probably the best defense, does have some things on his side. -ATL stops the run well, so they will need to pass. -ATL will score so TB will need to score with them. -Game is at home. -Full compliment of WR's
think you already made up your mind and i think would agree with you. Atlanta lets up alot of yards through the air and you know TB will have to throw the ball to stay in the game. Despite all the WR injuries Eli will still throw the ball plenty though, Freeman might be a bit riskier but i like it.
I 100% agree with you on Bradford though , it looks good at first glance but i would start both Eli and Freeman over Bradford.

- I disagree. yes that was the case last week but a score is a score no matter when it happens, so you dont want to talk yourself out of him for that reason. I do agree that the big two are out but they still have some young talented wr's and two solid routing running TE's with good hands and the match up is pretty good.

- Totally agree with your assessment - no go here.

- Solid assessment but Atl is going to rush him all day and i dont know that he has the experience nor speed to make things happen in those circumstances. but he definitely has sleeper valu since your right they are going to have to throw to stay in the game which is an almost absolute.
overall i think if you want the safe bet you go eli, he will get you the points in this game but wont single-handedly win your week. While Freeman is a high risk high reward situation he may get shut down he could also have a huge day. I would say it depends on the reliability of the rest fo your starters ,if they are routinely getting you points and you need that final push to get the win, go with Freeman if they are little more risky then stick with eli and get the points, you dont need another risk reward starter.
Freeman is a pretty safe choice because Atlanta's corners pretty much suck. But it's not safe as in "a lock for a huge day." It's more of "I would be surprised if it's less than 15, more than 20." (standard scoring)
But put it this way. I have 2 kickers on my roster right now (probably dropping one today) and Freeman is on the WW (we only start 1)
I would go with Eli as well. He hasnt been outstanding but has been very good and consistant. NYG will run the ball a lot and that will open play action where he can do some damage. If you need the win to get in I wouldnt be gambling on an all or nothing like Freeman or Bradford.
I agree with you guys that Eli is probably the safer option for 15 points, but I have a feeling I'm going to need to go bigger for this weeks matchup. I'm facing Jay Cutler vs Detroit, a few good runningbacks with good matchups, etc.... so I may have to shoot higher and go for the upside of one of those other guys.
Kind of leaning with Freeman now. Too many things going against Eli for me to risk it. I just don't think they'll need to throw/score very much. Bradford is tempting, but have a feeling it's the Stephen Jackson show against a bad Arizona run Defense.
