Planning for the playoffs - seriously, help me out - WHIR

12 team PPR league, all td's = 6. I'm in, just need to find out where I finish for matchups in round 1, I know I won't get a bye. My roster week 13 starters in bold:

QB - E Manning, J Cutler
RB - A Peterson, A Foster, T Gerhart
WR - R White, M Austin, M Floyd, M Manningham
TE - J Dreessen
DEF - Jets, Chargers
K - R Gould

In week 14, Baltimore is @ HOU, the worst pass D in the league. Derrick Mason is available as a free agent, and he's quietly become the #1 receiver for Flacco. My other WR matchups for week 14:

White @ CAR
Manningham @ MIN
Floyd v KC
Austin v PHI

Would it be too cute to see what AP's status is for this week, and if he's a go make Gerhart a last minute drop before kickoff to snag Mason? All players go to waivers after the first kickoff, so I'd be unlikely to get him any other way. Or is it better to play safe in case AP reinjures himself and Gerhart winds up with full time duty? WHIR, thanks!

Drop the Chargers defense, you don't need it with the Jets. Use that roster spot to pick up Mason. You are set at RB, and keep Gerhart in case AP gets hurt again. But you could use a decent backup RB, list what is available to you on the WW. With Derrik Mason, you'll be stacked at WR, and should be set fairly well for the playoffs.
