What are you getting your Wife/Girlfriend for Christmas

I considered getting her this, but she's getting that for Chanukah and Kwanzaa.

Seriously, I'd like to get her something that she would remember and appreciate. Anyone have any ideas?

My girlfriend is an absolute nut for the movie Elf, which they just so happen to be putting on Broadway for only six weeks this year, so I picked up some center orchestra tickets to that with dinner nearby in the city beforehand. A few other little things, but that's the 'big' gift, if you will.

My other half is graduating with her Master's in May and my planned graduation gift was a Summer holiday in Venice. Never been there myself and she's always wanted to visit. Logically, it makes sense, but that'll mean a cheerio to a Champions League final trip to London.

I'm pretty useless with giving gifts and so, this will double as both my graduation and Christmas gift. The lazy thing for me would be to buy her anything Apple (she's a die-hard Apple fanatic) and I gave her an iPad for her birthday several months ago.

My wife is a very good chef so am thinking a good mixer. Not exactly going to get me laid but she will dig it. Other is a vacation, either Vegas or islands.
