My kid was asking me to put ours up and I meant to do it this weekend, but a little thing called laziness got in the way. So we put up some stuff inside the house.
But I got to get outside and do the lights.

Tsk, tsk. Da Hoo Dory, dude. You need to stop in Whoville and relearn what Christmas is all about. While you are there, be sure to try the Roast Beast. It's a delicacy.

Haven't put mine up yet, but probably will this weekend, as long as the weather cooperates. I don't really want to be messing around on a ladder, with electrically charged wires, in the pouring rain. Maybe I'll pick up a tree today and surprise Shannie when she gets home from work. Hmm.
Put up some lights the Sunday before Thanksgiving (didn't turn them on until the day after). Went and cut down the tree the day after Thanksgiving, decorated the inside that weekend.
You know, I used to not could understand why the heck people would put up their lights before or right after Thanksgiving. But I think as I've grown older and wiser, I am starting to get it.
It's too FRIGGIN cold out right now to even want to do it!
