Right. I have 7 RBs in a league that starts 2. I'm preventing others from having any of them, and I like it that way.

Yep, chalk another up for the "it's ok" side. It's all strategy.

In one league I'm in, the four playoff teams have already clinched the playoffs. The first place team is up by a game, and if he loses he's still gonna be in first thanks to his division tie breaker. I'm in fourth place, and I win I can move up to third. The catch is, the first place guy's team is struggling, and has been on a bit of a losing streak after being rock solid the whole season. I'm sitting some players this week in an effort to get the better playoff matchup. Strategy.

Personally, I wouldn't drop Schaub if I was in this owner's shoes just to avoid the inevitable drama. Almost every league has some kind of situation when owners are crying shenanigans and some are worse than others, this shady deal certainly qualifies as "worse".

In any case, as a long time commissioner I would not prevent the transaction and simply state that the move falls within the rules we all agreed upon. However the fallout would effect the continuity of the league will be reflected in next year's participants and non-participants. One thing I should mention is if a player is undroppable in a fair league in would normally have the player on a "can't cut" list in the case of a Yahoo or ESPN league, Schaub is by no means at this level this year. In a 2 QB league he certainly has more value but this move could certainly backfire and not have the desired effect.

How likely is it that Schaub scores more points than Delhome, 55-60% at best? I would say it is near a coin flip considering the match ups (BAL@HOU and CLE@BUF). Kerry Collins actually outscored Peyton Manning last night in most formats which goes to show you how fleeting these quarterback performances can be in any given week.

Sort of a tangent...but I want to drop Kyle Orton, except Yahoo! has him on the Can't Cut List. Goes to show you player value is relative.
