Really I think the fact that I have a penis helped big time.

Good to see that Anatomy class wasn't wasted on you.

Congratz Met. I am sure you are plenty smart enough to get in without your equipment. I will say that being male earns you immediate respect. You will not only be respected more by patients and families, but your co-workers automaticly think you are smarter and more competent than your female peers. It's crazy and really pretty sad, but it is very true.
Sadly, you are also set to enter a profession that has per capita the most insane collection of personalities you may ever meet.
And any stories you may have heard about nurses , eh, warmth and generousity are very true.
(female nurses that is, for males you'll have to do your own research )
