Witten or Tamme?

Postby robotninja » Wed Dec 08, 2010 1:15 pm

Tamme plays on a short week against Tenn Thurs night and may be hurt. Witten plays sunday night against the Eagles and may be hurt as well. Im a little concerned that Witten will have to stay in and block against the Eagles Def but Dallas is also likely to be trailing for most of the game so they will have to pass and Dallas is without Dez Bryant to suck up targets now. Our 3rd receiver is WR/TE so if I bench Tamme I will have extra time to decide between Witten, Mike Thomas, or James Jones for my 3rd reciever.

It's tough to say. If Tamme is definitely hurt, then Witten may be the best choice.

It's important to note that Witten has never missed a game to injury in his career.
He actually had his ankle sprain, and still came in to play after, and ended up with a TD reception.

Its all about your comfort level. If you think that you have a more reliable receiver, I'd put them in there.

I don't know that Dallas will be behind most of the game. If we're smart we'll use TC the majority of the time and smash the rock to keep Vick off the field.

Under Garrett, our Avg Points Per Game is 33. Pretty cool, huh? Why couldn't we fire Wade sooner?! ;-D

Gotta start your stud here and go with Witten. Tennessee is a bad passing defense, but Philly is barely better on the season.

I look for Indy and Manning to be pissed and come out with a turn around performance here. Tamme will receive some of the love. Healthy of course, if not I guess I'd go with Witten over your other options. Keep an eye on weather & health.

Just follow the injury reports leading up to tomorrow's game. I think if Tamme is able to play, then I'd go with him. Plus it gives you something to watch on Thursday. But if it sounds iffy, I'd go with Witten. Because if Tamme can't play, then you can always follow Witten's injury status, and if he is hurt too you can pick up a TE like Olsen or Watson off the WW.
