After all the controversy for cutting Moss after going 3-1, the Pats have since gone 7-1 and now sit atop the NFL with a 10-2 record. It's now safe to say Bill Belichick is a genius.

There aren't any geniuses in the NFL. The true geniuses are doing much more important work elsewhere. That said, everyone understands that Belichick is a damn good NFL coach. You'd have to be crazy to disagree with that.

I'm not so sure you can say that trading Moss made the team go 7-1 and the Patriots were 3-1 with Moss so you can't say they were necessarily a worse team with him.
