Hey everyone. Tough decision in my 12-team .5 ppr dynasty league. Four studs with varying matchups, etc. and I really need big points out of my RBs with weaker offensive players other than Maclin and Rivers.
So, pick three of these four:
Peyton Hillis
Jamaal Charles
Knowshon Moreno
Ray Rice
Thanks in advance for the help an leave a link - WHIR
Hillis is most obvious YES. Charles against SD is a must. Tough between Rice and Moreno - both are solid and good matchups. I'd lean toward Rice @ HOU since they will run a lot. ARZ D is much better at home (or at least they used to be).
6 pts per TD (pass/catch/run) 25 yds/pt passing 10 yds/pt rushing & receiving No PPR P Manning, CJ, Foster, McFadden, Choice, Ricky W, Austin, VJax, R Moss...
Peyton Hillis @ Buf - a must start for a proven back going against a Run D ranked 30th this season and have allowed over 100 yards rushing and at least 1 TD to opposing RBs (3 last week to Min) Jamaal Charles @ SD - i Think you gotta go with him he has provided the points and with Cassle 50/50 after his appendectamy (lol, i doubt thats spelled right but you get the point)they are going to rely on him even more. Knowshon Moreno @ AZ - What a match up, he has been on his game in the last few weeks and now with the RB coach stepping up as interim head coach you can bet they pound the ball on the groud all day. Ray Rice - This is the guy i think you should sit. he is going to have a solid game but with houston's absolutely terrible pass D i think the offensive scheme will be to let Flacco do his thing.
Hillis you definitely have to play. He's just too consistent regardless of opponent or situation (playing from behind, huge lead, doesn't matter)
Moreno I think you have to play too. He's been looking like a man on fire, and when the running back's coach all of a sudden becomes the head coach... I think you're looking at some serious touches for him. Pair those with the fact that he's against Arizona, and I think he's looking like a top 5 RB this week.
Which leaves Rice and Charles. Rice is great obviously, and he's got the hands to be involved in the passing game too, which makes him safe against a Houston team that's going to have to go for broke on offense to stay competitive. I think he's going to put up some good numbers on Monday.
Charles is always a tough one, because he's obviously capable of amazing numbers, given his potential to beat the secondary if he gets through. He's a home run hitter, but he's your risky option. I think that he COULD potentially outscore Rice, but the chance isn't worth the risk.
In your position, as hard as it is to sit a guy like Jamaal Charles, I think I'd go Hillis, Moreno, Rice for this week.
This has to be your dream week. Very favorable match ups.
Hillis for sure against Buf. I'd cut my nuts off to have Hillis this week.
Charles averages 6.5 yards a game v. SDG. And he's getting alot of carries again in the past few games.
Moreno is the guy this week. Arizona rush def 30 in the league. Hes getting quality touches but its his receiving that makes him attractive this week. Arizona is not going to score with their joke of an offense so Den is going to run alot and pass conservatively. With an intiriim head coach you know Morenos gonna see the ball.
I would sit Rice no doubt. He is the streakiest pick out of the three and got shut down last game at Hou.
The choice is Charles/Rice, imo. I like Rice better, but I have a feeling Houston will come out throwing and the Ravens may get behind. That said, divisional rival games are always a toss up so Charles could explode or be held in check.
1. Peyton Hillis Must start amazing matchup 2.ray rice i see ravens blowing texans out so a lot of carries for him into production 3.Charles i know he has a tough matchup but hes a stud.
Ok, first off it looks like you have a sick team so you must have done a lot right this year, congrats.
Obviously, Hillis is unbenchable like everyone else says. I also think Moreno is goign to have a HUGE game... even if Tebow vultures a TD or two. I'm really looking for the broncos to bounce back this week. Its tought to bench your #1 pick.... but Rice has disappointed a lot this year and the chargers run D is suspect. Go with Charles.
