Playoff Flex Help!!! 100% WHIR SIR!!

Postby charltonsect » Thu Dec 09, 2010 1:01 pm

2 teams.. both PPR. (starters in BOLD)

TEAM 1
QB: Vick, Cassell
RB: Peterson, McCoy, Stewart, Tomlinson
WR: Bowe, Owens, Austin, S.Smith (NYG), S.Rice
TE: Boss
K: Kaeding
DST: Falcons, Bears

Need 1 WR and 1 Flex for week 14.. leaning toward Tomlinson (vs MIA) and either Rice (vs NYG), Austin (vs PHI) or Owens (@ PIT). And Stewart could be good despite the Falcons tough Defense.

I feel like either could turn it on and have a big game.

TEAM 2
QB: Brees, Orton
RB: Bradshaw, Blount, Tomlinson, Brown, Starks, Addai
WR: Jennings, Austin, Owens, Gaffney, B.White (IND)
TE: VDavis, Boss
K: Carpenter
DST: Browns, Bears

I need 3.. leaning toward Blount (@WAS), Austin (vs PHI) and Owens (@PIT), but Tomlinson (vs MIA) could be good too.

Thoughts? obviously its the playoffs so every point counts and I'd hate to leave a lot on my bench if I can help it.

And as always - leave a link and I'll send help from my end.

Thank you! :)

Team 1: any other time i would say start TO but with the production that rice had last week and a beatable matchup i like him this week. And i would start LT in the flex

Team 2: The way that the redskins got tooled last week by the run i love blount here and LT. and if white is roddy, then i love roddy in any ppr situation.

good luck

Tough Choice. I'm between Austin and Stewart.

If you were to go WR I would go with Austin. Owens has slowed down a little over the past few games, I assume hes not beat up from the year but he is old. Also he is going against Pit so I would not go that route.

I'm in the same boat with Austin. It's tough to know what he's going to do, I really wish he got more receptions.

I can't believe how heavily Stewart was used last week coming back from injury after Goodsen light it up for 3 100yard weeks. Now Goodsen has injury problems so you know Stewart will get 20 plus touches. Only downside is Carolina is going to get crushed by Atlanta so you have to hope they don't back off the run game.

Final choice = Austin

Team 2: Blount, Austin, and Owens.

LT hasn't done anything recently. I am personally thinking of starting Choice over him this week.

Yes sir
Team 1: Austin and Flex Stewart

Team 2: Austin and Flex Owens

For both of our sakes I'm hoping Bryants injury helps Austin out.

I would go with Rice, Stewart, Austin.

LT hasnt impressed since early in the season. Plus Miami D is strong against the run. They shut down Hillis last week.

Blount, Austin, Owens

PS. With Dez Bryant out look for Austin to get even more looks
