Ryan or Kitna?

Postby jwb2116 » Thu Dec 09, 2010 1:57 pm

I have a dilemma, should I go with Kitna or Ryan this week? I'm not liking Ryan's matchup, I think they may rely more on their running game with Carolina and Ryan might just have an average week of about 220 and 1. Kitna has a more favorable matchup, QB's versus the Eagles average about 18 fantasy points, but Dez Bryant isn't there anymore and that was one of Kitna's favorite targets

I would lean towards starting Kitna. Ha Who could have imaged that at the start of the year. I agree, Ryan won't pass very much. They are going to stomp Carolina and run the ball.

The Eagles secondary is no great shake and Kitna has been tossing alot.

Kitna.

I would appreciate some help if you don't mind.

I would probably lean more towards Kitna also with it being a home game and they are calling for rain in Carolina. Kitna still has plenty of weapons in Austin, Witten, Williams, and Felix Jones. Also Eagles will probably put some points up and Dallas might be playing catch up the whole game, which will amount to a lot of passing.

Kitna I would think, too. Since JG has taken over, we've seen a drop in INT's and games averaging 33 points.
We will probably run the ball a lot to keep Vick off the field, but don't think for a second Kitna won't throw.
I expect to see Big games from Witten, Austin and Williams as far as the passing game goes.

I like Matt Ryan. Lower risk and a much better QB. His matchup is much sweeter too.

I wouldn't roll the dice on Kitna during the playoffs. It's just too iffy.

Matt Ryan is your stud. Ride him all the way!
