C Johnson or Turner in survivor format??? Always WHIR

Cafe, I'm not usually seeking out help around the football boards, but I'm really struggling to make a decision on my RB for a fantasy survivor pool. For those that aren't familiar, a survivor requires you to put together a lineup each week, using whoever you'd like, but once you use a player they cannot be used by you again.

I've saved both Michael Turner and chris Johnson throughout the season. Now I've got a dilemma over who to play this week and who to play in week 17. These two guys have identical matchups in week 17, just flipped home and away.

Do I start CJ tonight at home vs Indy? I think the Titans will finally feed him this week. Fisher is no idiot and he knows that they aren't producing when they aren't running CJ. And with Indy's miserable rush D it seems to be a great matchup.

OR

Turner @ Carolina and their porous rush D? I'm afraid that Atl won't have anything to play for in wk 17 and will rest Turner. Their other 2 match ups against SEA and NO aren't that enticing compared to the Carolina matchup.

What's the verdict board? Please give me some guidance, and LEAVE A LINK!

Not for nothing, but if this was weeks ago CJ2K would be the move without question. But since this is a most important decision and you need the best outcome and cant afford a mistake i would go with Turner, hes good for 100 and a TD no doubt about it.

This is a great dilemma to have with these two rb's. The only thing that is scaring me right now with CJ is why haven't they been feeding him the ball? Is there a injury that they are hiding? There o-line hasn't changed and he isn't getting the touches. I'd play it safe and go with Turner this week and worry about next week after this one. Good luck.

hehe, I think you have a good choice here. It's a tossup for me. Johnson will probably be the main part of Tennessee's offense this week, since their pass attack has only been mediocre thus far. The only thing that scares me is Indy's speed on defense.
On the other hand, Turner has a great matchup against a terrible defense, but Atlanta also has a prolific passing attack, so he may be underused. On the other hand, he might be rested in week 17 as you stated.

Personally, I would go with Turner this week since there's a chance you won't be able to use him at all come week 17.

i agree with what you say about the falcons may not have anything to play for week 17 and rest their starters so i would go ahead and use turner this week
