PPR: Starks or Stewart WHIR

Postby Bardu » Fri Dec 10, 2010 1:13 pm

I need your help with my W/R slot this week. I just lost Dez Bryant for the season. The winner of my matchup this week makes the playoffs, and the loser goes home. So, my entire season is on the line. Here is my starting roster and bench. Keep in mind this is a PPR league.

QB P Manning
RB C Johnson A Bradshaw
WR M Colston M Williams (TB)
W/R ?
TE B Pettigrew
K M Bryant
D New England

Bench
RB J Starks, J Stewart
WR H Ward, M Williams (Sea), K Britt
also Z Miller, S Bradford, Tampa Bay D

Starks is @ Det and Stewart is vs. Atl. Detroit has one of the most generous defenses in the league and Atlanta has one of the best run stopping units. Stewart is a proven player, Starks is making his second start.

Manning and Johnson got my team off to a good start, but as I said, this week is a must win for me.

I'd go with Stewart here. Blount had almost 100 yds against ATL last week. And Stewart might also get a couple catches.

Thanks for helping with mine...

Based on match ups, I would go with Starks. Stewart is playing a tough ATL def, plus Carolina will be playing catch up so I doubt Stewart will get many carries/ooportunities.

On the other side, looks like Starks will get the majority of the carries on a team that can score easily against a poor run DEF.

Good luck, hope you make it!
