Chicago- I just drove home from work through moderate rain. Saw 5 buses with a police escort on the Kennedy. Patriots?
Temp. is currently 33. It's all going to freeze shortly. Tomorrow's weather is snow, cold, very windy. They're mentioning 31 mph with up to 55 mph gusts. Temps in the mid 20s with single digit wind chills. Not a good day to play football. Favors the run over the pass. The Bears normally play cover 2 which Brady would normally shred with 10-15 yd. passes IF the wind doesn't get him.
Brett Favre has got to love a snowstorm. His ailing shoulder has been given another day to heal.
The Giants-Vikings game was moved to Monday night because Minnesota had at least 15 inches of snow and wind gusting over 30 mph and the New York team was waiting it out in Kansas City.
The game will be played at 8 p.m. ET and be aired on television by Fox in local markets.
I know this game is being played in a Dome but this storm sounds really bad. Plus now the FF Playoffs for a lot of people are going to come down to Monday Night with lots of studs playing.

Wow we're in for some terribad offenseive preformances going into the first week of the playoffs for alot of leagues... And the Vikings/Giants game getting postponed is quite crazy. Hope they can repair the stadium well and in time dispite horrible weather there.
Hmmm from Roto. Where else can they play it if not the Metrodome?
Multiple sources are reporting that the bubble roof of the Minnesota Metrodome has collapsed due to heavy snow and is no longer visible.
It goes without saying that the already rescheduled Giants/Vikings games will not be able to be played at the Metrodome. We still have no word from the NFL, and we'll bring you the latest when we know more.
Do we bench ALL Vikings and Giants players in case this game gets cancelled or moved further? Playing Manningham right now and other options stink (Knox, Smith - Car).

exactly... I've got a score (no pun there) of Vikes and Giants that are gunna kill me if something happens. Planning Eli and AP in one league, AP and Bradshaw in another. I can put in Fitzpatrick and Green-Ellis in the first league, but my second league I'd be doubly screwed at RB.
I think the game will be played. Location is the question. Giants did not bring their cold weather gear so they either need to get their gear shipped out or play in a dome.
Weather in Chicago this morning is cloudy and windy. No snow yet. There is a band of snow west of Chicago moving this way. Looks like wind WILL be a problem.

Recent reports have it that the Giants might play at University of Minnesota's football stadium, but it doesn't nearly fit the same amount of people the Metrodome does, also heard they would both play at Detroit.
Saw the grounds crew cleaning the field at Chicago on ESPN, man does it look awful there. Winds swirling like no other.
Latest I've heard for the NYG/MIN game is either Detroit or New Orleans tomorrow night. Nothing official.
That game in Chicago is going to be a mess. I'm not sure if I like BJGE this week or not. Offensive production will be by far on the ground, but how much offensive production will there be? 50mph winds? Come 'on, Man!
