Botched Snap on Field Goal Question

Postby crockies99 » Sun Dec 12, 2010 5:47 pm

In the Buccaneer's game The Redskins botched the snap on the extra point. Should that count as a fumble recovery for Bucaneer's Defense? Right now, it isn't showing. Thanks!

It won't count. An interception on a two-point conversion attempt is recorded as a "failed try", the interception is irrelevant. It's the same with a fumble recovery.

Jake is 100% correct, it's just considered a failed attempt.
