WR and RB's - WHO TO START??? WHIR as always.

Postby med23 » Tue Dec 14, 2010 12:40 pm

Hey guys,

Just want to see if my decisions look solid or if you would recommend subbing some of these guys (BOLD) for my semifinal game. I usually keep my posts short and simple, but couldn't help it this time. Thanks in advance. I always try to help in return. Good luck to you in your leagues too. NOT A PPR LEAGUE.

STARTERS
---------------
QB - Peyton Manning vs. JAX
WR - DeSean Jackson @ NYG
WR - Anquan Boldin vs. NO
RB - Michael Turner @ SEA
RB - Johnathan Stewart vs. ARI
WR/TE - Wes Welker vs. GB
WR/RB - Pierre Garcon vs. JAX

K - Shayne Graham vs. GB
DEFENSE - NYJ Defense @ PIT

BENCH
-----------------
Ahmad Bradshaw vs. PHI
Ryan Torain @ DAL
Cleveland Defense @ CIN
New Orleans Defense @ BAL

Your WR heavy, which I'm sure has worked out well till now but I'd take a look at the weather b4 Sunday...Torain would be the guy Id consider swapping...otherwise the starters look flawless...the only ? for me is the Jets D...check your wire options and if Miami is avail i'd consider swaping

Good Luck

I'd try to get a RB into that flex spot since you do have 2 good options on your bench. I think Boldin is your most inconsistent boom/bust WR so I'd sit him and take a chance with Torain.

Out of your defenses, I'd stick with the Jets.

Boldin has been dead lately, and after seeing him lay an egg against the crappy HOU defense, I wouldn't trust him.

I would put Torain or Bradshaw in there, as I like RBs in when I can. Torain looked good, but WAS will probably be playing from behind. Bradshaw has a Jacobs problem, and did not play well when these teams met earlier in the year. Tough choice, but both are a step above Boldin, in my opinion. I would roll with Bradshaw.

Thanks, and good luck. ;-D

I may start Bradshaw at your flex and sit Garcon, he will get his carries and can get in the endzone for you also. The defense is also worrying me, if the NYJ offense can't score how long can there def hold down the Pitt offense? I may start Clev @ Cincy with how bad there offense is and the way that Carson is throwing td's.........for the other team, they could score you some pts. Good luck

thanks for helping me out...I would sit Boldin and Stewart...and get Bradshaw and Torain into the line up. Boldin has been just about awful on a run first offense and I have zero faith in Carolina. Good luck!

I think your line up should look like this:

STARTERS
---------------
QB - Peyton Manning vs. JAX
WR - DeSean Jackson @ NYG
WR - Pierre Garcon vs. JAX
RB - Michael Turner @ SEA
RB - Johnathan Stewart vs. ARI
WR/TE - Wes Welker vs. GB
WR/RB - Ryan Torain @ DAL
K - Shayne Graham vs. GB
DEF - Cleveland Defense @ CIN

BENCH
-----------------
Anquan Boldin vs. NO
Ahmad Bradshaw vs. PHI
NYJ Defense @ PIT
New Orleans Defense @ BAL

I agree with a lot of what was said above regarding stating RB's over WR, especially in non-ppr leagues. Boldin is scary and I would rather play Torain over him. Also, the Jets can't keep their offense on the field, which means more possessions for the Steelers and the better possibility for points scored against.

Thanks for the help on mine - I got the week 15 opponents shown now!
