down 30 points in a 2 week playoff... WR help

Postby steelcurtain2010 » Wed Dec 15, 2010 12:53 am

Looking like week 1 of the playoffs was going to be very close, desean jackson, jason witten, and a kicker getting 14 points killed me as that was his last 3 players. I need to take chances and looking for advice on possible 4 wide receivers for 2 spots. I have hines ward and mike wallace against the jets, boldin vs the saints, and anthony armstrong vs the cowboys.

Wallace is a definite start for me and going by matchups, I am leaning towards anthony armstrong for big plays. Boldin has been inconsistent and is not a good matchup against the saints.

Let me know what you guys think.

Yes to Wallace.

Armstrong is a sneaky pick. Here's the thing, I don't see him going off for 120+ yards and 2TD more like 5 catchs 80 yards and 1 TD still not too shabby. Ward is a PPR guy IMO and Boldin as you say has been on and off. The one aspect is that he has an upside like Wallace so it's hard to sit him. The thing I noticed is that the Ravens have changed up there style of offense and simplified quite a bit. They've really had to relying on the short passes and screens in terms of passing which they use to set up the bomb. The only probably is Boldin, Housh, Mason and Stall all could be the possible recipient of said bomb.
