Major playoff start/sit quandaries--WHIR!!

Postby bearsfreak » Thu Dec 16, 2010 11:17 am

Please take the time and I will respond!
Rules are KEY--12 team league we start 2 QBs, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 1 RB/WR, and 1 TE, and we get 1 per catch, 6 for a TD, 1 point for 20 yards rush/rec, 1 point for 25 yards pass, -4 for lost fumbles or int, 1 point per completion, -1 for incompletion.
Questionable starters denoted by stars
QBs--Brady
, **Flacco**, **Kitna**
RBs--Hillis, Jonathan Stewart,
WRs--White, **Owens**, **Fitzgerald**, **Lloyd** Start 4 vs Flex play **Brandon Jacobs** in a PPR
TE--**Owen Daniels**, **Zach Miller**
K-Akers
D- **Eagles**, OR **Carolina**, OR **Ravens**??

So basically, Flacco vs Kitna? (where points are given and taken away for completions and incompletions,)
Do I start all 4 of my WRs, or do I slot Jacobs in ahead of any of them? If so, which one??
Daniels or Miller at TE?
Which Defense?? EDIT--Dallas off the board, so I need someone else
Need help--WHIR!!

Dude that was tough to read but I would start:

Kitna
Jacobs over Owens but keep an eye on Lloyd's practice time. I read he's dinged a little.
Daniels
and philly D.
Bill Swerski: That's right. Da question is: Now, did God create Da Bears, and make them superior to all teams? Or is he simply a huge fan, and Ditka made them superior to all other teams?

Thanks for the help on mine.

1) Kitna for sure. The Saints D is completely focuses on forcing turn overs.
2) Gotta give Jacobs the start. He's going to be solid. I wouldn't be scared of benching T.O either
3) Owen Daniels sure looked good minus the first couple drops which were probably just him shaking off the rust, I'd roll with it.
4) I'd go with Carolina here. I don't think the Eagles D in it's current state is a good match-up with NYG. I predict the game will be relatively high scoring.

I'd go Daniels over Miller, he had a ton of targets and should only improve with another week under his belt. I'd go Jacobs over Lloyd, Denver is a complete mess right now. For your qb # 2 I'd have to go with Kitna, he isn't pretty, but they have so much talent on offense he should get your two td passes. I also think that I would have to go with the Dallas def over the others, I would say Philly but they have a ton of injuries and signed Burrgess off the street to help them. Good luck.

I would start Kitna over Flacco. Kitna has been very consistent fantasy wise and Washington stinks. then Jacobs, Daniels and Dallas
