Defensive Help... BEARS or STEELERS? *WHIR*

Both are great defenses.

The Bears are going to be outdoors in Minnesota against a nobody QB now that Tavaris Jackson is out for the year...

The Steelers are home against a turnover prone Mark Sanchez and the Jets...

BEARS or STEELERS and WHY?

Both defense are a great start this week, but I'd have to start Pitt at home vs a offense that has totally lost every once of momentum it had. Good luck.

Tavaris done for year, Favre is virtually ruled out this week...

It's not surprising, as Frazier has said he's still holding out hope that Brett Favre (shoulder) will be ready, but the odds are heavily against it. Favre did not participate in Thursday's walkthrough. Webb has been taking the first-team snaps in practice and almost surely will get the start over the newly signed Patrick Ramsey.

If u get ST points, go Bears. Jets can get crazy conservative in a game like this and might not give you the turnovers u need.

I'd go PIT. The Jets have been inept on offense the past few weeks. They cannot establish any run game at all and I don't see this trend breaking against PIT. Eventually Sanchez will throw the ball.

I wouldn't sleep on AP having a solid game this week (I don't see last weeks horrible performance lasting) and MIN is more likely than NYJ to put up some points. The Bears are my team but it's hard to not notice the flaws in our secondary. Our secondary is either inexperienced or old and slow (e.g., Tillman). I think the Bears will play well this week considering the conditions/MIN QB situation but I think PIT is a better bet.

I'd play it conservative with PIT.

Tough decision but I'd go with Pittsburgh here. While the bears do have a good defense, as the poster pointed about above me they do have some issues as well. It's a great matchup with a nobody QB starting but Pittsburgh is the sure bet here. They way I look at it is you can't go wrong either way - both defenses should give you 10 points or so here.

Definitely a tough one, but I would go with PITT as well. The NYJ offense has really struggled lately and PITT is always one of the best D's out there.

CHI just go roughed up and possible lost a starting CB (tillman).

Both are great options for few points against, I see Pittsburgh forcing a few more turnovers. Minnesota is going to run 95% of the time.

Steelers D.
