Here are my options for the flex position and Webb qualifies since he is listed wr/qb -2 pts for INT. 0.5 pt per reception 0.25 pt per rush 6 pts for TD 50 yds = 1 pt for passing 20 yds = 1 pt for rushing and receiving
Webb vs CHI Javarris James vs Jac Ivory at BALT M Morris at TB Choice vs WAS Harvin vs CHI
I'm going to be honest. This has backfire written all over it. I agree you could fluke out here. I mean the risk and reward is so unseeable. You know those trick plays in Football such as a fake punt, flea-flicker or when a WR becomes a QB and throws for a TD. I mean it happens but how often does it work. I'd love for you to do it and for it to pay off. It's something you'll remember for a long time or something you'll be laugh at for a long time. Lets not forget the Vikings are playing Chicago last week was an anomaly it was a great team (Chicago) running into a Hot Great team (NE).
Yeah, you're options aren't too great. I'd say it's a toss up between Choice and James. I'm leaning towards James just because of the terrible game Choice had last week and I just think James is bound to get a TD and we saw Oakland run the ball extremely well against the Jags last week.
Sorry I got so carried away I forgot to answer the other question. If Shaun Hill plays Morris value goes up tremendously IMO. As crazygoalie39 say James should be good for a TD at least he gives you a chance at one. Ivory in a tough matchup but if healthy makes for a decent flex play that's only if healthy. I have to also admit I'm having flex play problems this week as well with (PT, James Starks, Randy Moss, Anthony Armstrong, Brandon Gibson, Arrelious Benn, Jacoby Ford, Maurice Morris, and as a crazy risk super sleeper like you Webb mine is Manuel Johnson).
Does your league give 6 pts per passing TD? If so, this is a no brainer. Go with Webb.
QB - A Rodgers, E Manning RB - A Foster, S Jackson, R Mendenhall, T Jones, R Bush WR - G Jennings, L Fitz, S Smith (Car), P Harvin, V Jackson TE - A Hernandez, J Tamme
I'd go Webb just for the baseline points over any of them unless Ivory plays and his healthy--and even then it's a tossup with PT and Bush back. Roll the dice.
QB-Drew Brees RB-Chris Johnson RB-Jonathan Stewart RB-Ryan Torain RB-Ronnie Brown WR-Calvin Johnson WR-Greg Jennings WR-Stevie Johnson WR-Mike Williams TE-Antonio Gates TE-BOSS (NYG) K-Janikowski (Oak) DEF-Philly
Since you say the rest of your team is a no-brainer... would it be fair to say that this flex position is a spot you've struggled to fill all season, and may have had a few duds here and there? You've survived it this far and are still playing in the playoffs, right? If so, then I'd say roll with Webb because of the potential upside. He's not the safe pick, and if this flex is a position that you need at least 10 points out of, then I'd look elsewhere to Choice or James (I'd probably go Choice cause the Skins will be a joke this week). It's hard telling without seeing the rest of your team, but if you can afford getting a goose-egg from him and still field a somewhat respectable team, than I would go for it. I remember Colston's rookie year when he was eligible as a TE... dude killed it for many owners that year. He could prove to be huge going out if he does well. It was well said above that it would make for a great story.
Thanks for helping with mine, James is too inconsistent...I would avoid the Indy backfield if at all possible. I would go Webb as well, this is a natural WR playing QB. The weather is a factor too, so monitor that.
