Nicks or Garcon? whir

Postby Duh Bearz » Sat Dec 18, 2010 3:22 pm

OK I get it. "Always start your studs". Which would point to starting Nicks. But my gut says Garcon and my gut really helped when I went with VJAX on Thursday. Here are the pros and cons:

Nicks - Probably the better receiver but going up against a better pass D AND the Giants re-committing to the run. Also while they would love to win the division, I still think they make the playoffs via wildcard if they lose.

Garcon - Peyton will wing it all day but has many more options (Wayne, Tamme, Collie, etc) against a horrendous Jags secondary. Lose and the Colts are out of the playoffs so I think they will be trying to score at will.

Can anyone help a brother out? I wish I had two WR spots left but must decide on one of the above.
Bill Swerski: That's right. Da question is: Now, did God create Da Bears, and make them superior to all teams? Or is he simply a huge fan, and Ditka made them superior to all other teams?

love nicks but i think id go with garcon given the do or die situation the colts are in.. he wont give you zero points so you will still be getting better than average points outve your wr's due to vjax's performance

This is a good problem to have, because I think both guys will be productive. Nicks, coming off injury, is still a slight concern so Garcon might actually be the safer pick despite the fact that Nicks has been your stud all season. And if you like to adhere to the philosophy of going with the hot guy, you gotta roll with Garcon.

Honestly this is a coin flip. BOTH have KILLER match ups and both teams will score.

NIcks is my starter but IND can not run and they only throw.

i'm gonna go against the grain here and say nicks. the game against the eagles is gonna be a shootout. lots of points scored. with steve smith done for the year, nicks is consensus option number one on that offense.

lil' help
