Start Oakland DST since Tebow is Starting for Denver (WHIR)

Ok, currently I have Miami DST starting in a good matchup against Buffalo at home. However, with the news that Tebow is starting for Denver, should I pick up Oakland's DST and start them ahead of Miami's DST? Lets be honest, Oakland's defense sucks, but they are playing a rookie QB who has never started (who isn't even a pocket passer), the game will likely be played in rain (which should make it low scoring), and Oakland has that kid Jacoby Ford who can strike at anytime with a kickoff return TD. Oh and since McDaniels has been fired Denver has really struggled on offense, and that was with Orton. Last week they could only mustard up 13 points against the Cardinals, and 6 points the week before to the Chiefs.

The only thing that scares me is playing such a bad defense (Oakland) instead of a statistically good defense (Miami). But when you take into account the matchups I think they even out a lot.

I think I should take a chance on Oakland. The only thing that scares me is that they defense decides not to show up and Denver drops 24+ points, but I don't see how that can happen. Denver hasn't put up more than 14 points in the past 2 games with Orton, I doubt they can do it with Tebow in the rain.

Even if Orton was playing Oak Def is the better play. Miami is good, but not a good fantasy Def. Oak can return one like you said but the key here is sacks and ints. Tebow is raw, he will make mistakes and hold the ball to long or force one in.

Thanks for your help with mine. I just picked up Oakland's defense off waivers yesterday in hope that Tebow would be starting for the Donkos. I say the Raiders will tear him up! Help with mine please:

Oak I think would be a good start. How many bootlegs can an NFL QB make before the D catches on?

Want to start Huff as a IDP but I'm worried about 3 and outs all game long with Tebow in. Poor stats

I have to agree with everyone else. Oak D has more "upside". Den O has been struggling and putting Tebow in will only hurt. Plus, as you mentioned, Ford has shown he can break loose. Go with Oak D.

Thanks for the help on mine.

OAK is the way to go. BUF can put up points on anyone, they just can't stop anyone.
