Start Joe Webb at WR???

the vikings are starting him at qb but he's listed as wr/qb so i can put him in as my 3rd wr if I wanted to. Is it a good play against the bears tough defense? My other option would be someone like brandon gibson or mike sims walker. But I figured if he throws even 1 td + some garbage time it could be worth it.

If those are your other options, then I would probably take a gamble on it. Since he'll probably net you the equivalent of a decent game by a WR.

i don't care about the ethics of it. do you think he'll put up more points than sims walker or gibson

No ethics here at all - the Vikes were converting him to WR and thus he is usable as such. Yahoo lists him as QB/WR so it's perfectly fine to use him. Not any different than Woodhead at RB/WR.

As far as using him, it seems like there may be upside, but I wish it were inside the Metrodome. I can't help but recall the Titans and Rusty Smith...he could end up with NEGATIVE points too!

Since it's a Monday game, I would watch my matchup as late as I can hold off (if you have a Sunday night alternative for instance) and see if you need a 'Hail Mary'. If so, roll with him. If you are safe, go conservative.

He may be useful next week in a better matchup.
