Matt Ryan -or- Jon Kitna

Postby smurff311 » Thu Dec 23, 2010 1:23 pm

Please consider the following...

Jon Kitna is going to Arizona against a weak Cardinals Defense...borderline a joke but Dez Bryant is out and Miles, Roy and Witten will be the main targets

Matt Ryan is home on MNF against the Saints. My gut says to go with Matt Ryan, it's home ;) and it's a divisional game so if he beats them and puts up good numbers he'll be really confident about the playoffs.

Let's hear your votes and why.

I'm leaning on the MNF at home - Kitna is a good play against a spotty Ariz D, but Ryan and Brees should go back and forth

I am going to go against the grain and side with Kitna. It is close, and both should be considered #1 options, but Kitna will throw for a minimun 250yds and 2tds...im thinkin more like 3. Ryan is a nice option, but Atlanta could try yo control the clock and go run heavy to keep Brees and company off the field....not something the Cowyboys are likley to do.

Help?

Cowboys game might get ugly quick and they should run Choice for most of the second half.

My guess is that the MNF game is gonna be a shootout. I'm hoping the R. White has a huge game and backs up all the Twitter garbage hes been saying.

Roll with Ryan!

I have basically the same problem. I have Kitna, Ryan, AND Flacco and deciding who to play. As of right now, I'm starting Jon Kitna against the Cardinals. Ryan hasn't had to put up major points with the ATL rush attack firing on all cylinders (except last week, and even then Ryan didn't "blow up"). I wouldn't mind starting Flacco but CLE is actually pretty tough against the pass and the weather is a concern. My opponent has Jason Witten and I'm not sure how that affects starting Kitna. Toss up, but I'm sticking with Kitna....for today ;)

oh...and New Orleans is VERY tough against the pass. Ryan is only one of two QB's (Flacco last week) to have multiple TD's....but neither had "major" yardage

Drafted Ryan in the 7th round, drafted Flacco in the 8th round....then when I found out they had the same bye week (duh) I drafted Brett Favre in the 11th round....that clearly didn't work out so when Romo went down I got Kitna. I've been using mostly Flacco (9 games) and Kitna (4 games). Only used Matt Ryan twice this year. BTW, my record is 9-6.
