Week 12 Against the Spread -- No Winners!

Okay, we knew that this week was going to be a toughie, but this is incredible! Out of 16 players, NOONE managed to do more than recover their bet, two people busted, and twelve people finished with fewer credits than they had at the beginning.

If this week taught us anything, it's the old adage that there's no such thing as a sure thing. Not only did KC fail to cover a tiny 3 1/2 points against the Seahawks, but they actually lost the game! The Eagles, on the other hand, shored up their defense and put their faith in a good game plan, and won their game over the favored 49ers.

Since noone won anything this week, I'm not declaring any winners. Here is how people finished:

1000 Credits (broke even) - dalej & Fern

600 Credits - DraftDodger, PowderedToastMan, Slingblade

We're not going to be able to afford bus fare back from Vegas if we can't do better than this ... dunno if Week THIRTEEN will be LUCKY though.
Let's all put this week behind us and try to win big next week.

Would you believe it? I'm sitting at my keyboard ready to make these calls, when all of a sudden, an Arlo-imposter runs in, shoves me from the chair and submits the exact opposite of what I wanted to pick! Then he ran off and, um, er... you're not buying this, are you?
