LeSean McCoy vs MIN
...or...
Rashard Jennings vs WAS

So, I know I'll hear a lot of "don't bench your studs". And I agree.

But McCoy has certainly had his fair share of disappointing games (5 of last 9 were 12pts or less). Plus, MIN is much better vs the run than WAS is. Plus, when Vick controls the game, McCoy doesn't seem to fare well.

Plus, Jennings can catch the ball too, so he's a dual threat like McCoy, and he's averaging 6.8yds per carry.

Dunno, tough one. Thoughts?

If MJD is out, go with Jennings, he is going to run all over Washington, yahoo has him projected at 19pts.

I am in the same spot and will be benching AP and McCoy for Jennings.

Take my word of advice for what it's worth, I will be starting LeSean McCoy in my championship game. He has the tools and talent to win me the championship by himself. He has the potential to rip off a long run at any time and is heavily used in the passing game too. However, I do not like his matchup against Minnesota. Despite that, I'm rolling with the players that got me to the title game. I am hoping the Minnesota offense will be limited and McCoy can chew up some yardage, especially with the lead in the 2nd half. He got me to the title game. So it's glory or bust.

Jennings does have a great match up this week if MJD can't go. He should thrive in the JAX run heavy offense and pick up some nice yardage, especially in the 2nd half with the lead. There is no fault in starting him this week.

Seems like a win/win situation in choosing between the 2 RB.

Thanks for the help with mine.

Thanks for the help with mine. I think you're in a position where you have to decide which is easier to live with if you take the wrong one - is it worse to bench your stud and watch him go off, or worse to bench the big-potential guy with less of a track record and watch him go off? I don't see how you get away from McCoy on this one. Good matchup, at home, and the Vikes D isn't exactly the Steelers. They're more about reputation than production, imo. Good luck!

Thanks for your insite on the Rogers v kitna issue. You may have talked me into Rogers.

As for Mccoy or Jennings... I'm starting them both. I have had McCoy all year, just picked up Jennings. McCoy's scoring has been pretty consistant for me over the last half of the season... Well, he has had a few spectacular weeks but even his down weeks have been reasonable. so I think if I had to choose between the two I'd go with him (McCoy). But I am hoping for a blow out from Jennings.
