Wait for andres status or bench him? Whir!!

Non-ppr

I have Andre Johnson but I'm nervous he might not play. I can either play britt or welker or wait to see if he's playing. If he doesn't play and it's almost 4 then I'm stuck playing mike Williams

Welker vs buf
Britt vs kc
Or wait to see of Andre plays and plays Williams vs TB if not

I benched him....I should have benched him for Wallace but didn't....

Go with Welker or Williams if you do bench him. I am considering Williams....

I think Welker would be a fine play. If you want to gamble, wait to see if AJ plays, if he doesn't I think you'll be OK w/ Williams. From what I've read, AJ has two different issues going on. The latest MRI revealed something the previous ones have not. They did not give specifics except that his achilles was sore now when he ran.

I'm in about the same predicament. I have AJ and Welker. Thankfully we can also use TEs in our league as WRs and I have Jason Witten. If that is the only option you have, I'd go with Welker. Since I have Witten that poses another problem for me.

Thanks for the help with mine.

I have AJ and fortunately am in good shape, with Maclin ready to fill in. I've already benched AJ but, since Maclin plays on SNF, I'll probably put AJ back in, if the word is that he's no worse than he has been most of the season. if he plays but they say he's worse, then I'll leave Maclin in. I don't really foresee the second scenario, as if he's worse, then I think he'll sit. After all, the Texans have nothing to play for and are against a team that has a horrible run defense. Therefore, they won't want to play AJ if there's more risk than there has been, when they have someone like Foster there to carry the load.

In your case, I'd probably start Welker. Since both Britt and Welker play the first round of games, you can't really chance playing AJ. IMHO, Welker is the best option. Britt's too inconsistent and the weather forecast slightly favors Welker's game. Only consider AJ if you think you need to "hit a homer."
