Do I dare bench Wayne?

Yes I know the "never bench you studs" theory, however Peyton is down a weapon again and Wayne will be wearing an Asomugha blanket all day.

Stevie Johnson and BUF will be playing catchup and throwing all day.

Santana Moss looked like the goto guy for Rex and faces an average JAGs passing D.

Not the best options but a couple of decent matchups versus a tuff matchup for Wayne.

Pick 2 to start.

PPR league, 1 pt. per 10 receiving, 6 pts per TD

You called it...you CAN'T bench Wayne. Far too much upside, even with a tough matchup. He'll receive more targets w/o Collie and the volume of pass plays are incredible (enough to go around). I'm starting Wayne this week, especially considering Aso's ankle - he re-aggravated the injury against Denver last week.

I don't think I have the stones to bench Wayne in a PPR league, even with the reasons you mentioned. I'd be starting him and Stevie J against that below average Pats secondary. I don't trust Grossman....Bad Rex can show up at any time, Fitzpatrick is the better QB so Stevie gets the nod. Good luck!

I would not bench Wayne. Peyton will get his, and therefore so willl Wayne. No matter who is on him. Also would go Steve J. Playing from behind and weak Pats secondary.
