Injury RB problem - need advice

Postby spilifantrr » Sat Dec 25, 2010 9:21 pm

I've got a championship game issue with my RB position...

Due to a quirky league rule, I can't no longer pick up any players through free agency and I only have 3 RB's on my roster (Benson, Moreno, Greene)... I'm starting a healthy Benson (he's not great, but of my 3 options he's a shoe in due to his health). That leaves Moreno (who i'd ordinarily start without hesitation if healthy) or Greene. Moreno is questionable and playing at 4p EST. If he sits out this week, my only option is to play Greene, but he has a 1p EST start. I can either role the dice and play the better option in Moreno or go with a guy who will at least start in Greene, but limit my upside with him (esp. going up against the Chicago defense).

So what do you all think? Do I risk Moreno not playing or go with Greene? I don't want to play Greene in my championship game, but I don't have much of a choice. Any advice or insight on Moreno's injury situation would be appreciated.

I understand your fustration. I would probably roll with Moreno. I only say that because the news about him is promising. Also, Greene is averaging 4 fantasy points a game. I don't think he will make any difference if you play or not. Thus, Moreno is the risk you will need to take in this championship week.
