Backup plan needed? WHIR

Postby BearsFan65 » Sun Dec 26, 2010 12:20 am

I noticed that ATL listed Roddy White as questionable on the injury report. Any reason for me to pick up Jenkins or Douglas just in case there's something to this? I believe he practiced fully on Friday. WHIR, thanks!

I think he'll be fine, but in all honesty, even if he doesn't play, do you like any other ATL WR's against that Saints D? White is the only one I'd trust so if you want an insurance policy I'd look for other options with better match ups if they're out there...

Remember, it's the Monday night game. In our league, rosters lock at noon Sunday, so I'd only be able to get use out of a WR playing in that game if I picked one up. I'd obviously wait till the last minute to remove White from my lineup, but whoever I replace him with would have to be on my roster the day before. Jenkins, Douglas, Henderson are all that's available. If Roddy didn't play, Jenkins would be next in line for WR targets, and Henderson is almost valueless. This is just about insurance in case Roddy is a scratch come game time on Monday.

Everyone else, feel free to jump in! Best thing I could hear is that Roddy's fine and this is a waste of a post!

Ah, good point. As I said, though, I think Roddy will be fine. If you're worried, though, Jenkins is the best "handcuff" to grab, as he'd most likely step into the #1 WR role.
