Is Joe Webb worthy of a roster spot?

Postby Boognish » Sun Dec 26, 2010 10:01 am

I wrestled with this last week too. My top three starting WR's are Colston, Bowe and Calvin Johnson. I picked up Joe Webb because he's listed as a QB/WR in Yahoo. Last week I kept him on the bench and started my standard WR's.

So, last week Webb (6.48 points) ended up with more points than either Colston (4.05 pts)or Bowe (2.65). Calvin Johnson got more points for me than Webb did though (11.60 pts). So, here we go again. Favre hasn't passed his concussion test, and it looks as though Webb will be starting QB against the Eaglets. Do I sit Colston or Bowe and go with Webb in the WR spot this week?

This is for the Championship game and a couple hundred bucks, so all replies are VERY welcome.

I would definetely start Colston and Bowe. Colston will most likely be in a shootout with the likely hood of getting catches and tds. Bowe seems to be getting back to his old game. Webb is going against a philly defense that will be mostly like going after him since he is a rookie QB.
