So I'm curious to hear everyone's opinion on this.
I'm in a keeper league that's in it's fifth year. I've been relatively successful, making the finals once, and the playoffs four years. The league format is as follows:
Roster: 2 QB's, 3 WR's, 2 RB's, TE, W/R, K, 2 DEF, 7 BN, plus 1 IR slot (added the last year or 2 years ago after weeks of angry emails after I was forced to cut Tom Brady after his knee injury because there was no IR to put him on).
Scoring: 50 yds/pt passing, 20 yds/pt rush/rec., 0.75 pt/Rec, 6 pts/TD, bonuses for benchmarks in yards, defenses are worthless (10 pts./0 PA, goes to 4 pts/6-13 PA), turnovers +/-2 pts.
Each team can keep 7-8 players with no cap on the seasons a player can be kept. The draft picks taken are from the front end of the draft, regardless of the value of the player. Further, any teams taking only 7 must take from another team's roster in the first round. The draft order is non-snake for the first half of the draft, snake the final rounds.
I've been on the progressive side of every talk about rule changes every season - personally, I think that teams should have to pay more of a price for Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers than Joe Flacco and Eli Manning - yet, every time I mention a pay for play system - I'm called a bitch by Manning/Rodgers owner (usually him alone), stating things like "I had to work for those guys". Essentially, I'm asking for a fairer system, especially now that we're trying to add two new teams.
Bottom line is, while I feel like I've had a lot of success, I'd like some advice on whether to stay in this league or not, or at worst, get some ideas to air out this situation so that we all can co-exist, because the arguments in this league have become absolutely brutal, somewhat personal and I think the only reason I might come back is to win and shove it in these guys faces.
if its not for money that you regularily win and you are not having fun with it...leave. nobody should be upset if you state that you simply do not want to do it anymore
im having a couple guys not play anymore after this year in football and baseball bc it simply isnt fun for them anymore. no hard feelings
and the scoring settings suck. is really TD heavy...not my style. plus .75 ppr while almost nothing for yardage...very weird

If it's brutal and personal and your only interest is in wanting to shove it in their faces, leave. leave right after the season, allowing them the maximum amount of time to find a replacement. There's alot to be said for taking the high road and leaving gracefully.
To me it seems like a messed up system that favors the Mannings, Bradys, Schaubs, Rodgers, Bresses (all of whom are on two teams) and penalizes anyone who has 2 average QBs, the same at other positions (although there is more turnover, so it makes it harder to get a monopoly there). Regardless, the whole system to me seems really stacked against the have nots and it's annoying trying to crack back into the top, although I did raid the FA pick ups this year and get Garcon, Stevie Johnson, Peyton Hillis, BJGE, T. Gonzalez (late pick up, dropping A. Gates), Benn, F. Jackson, M. Floyd, D. Driver, S. Rice, C. Ivory, J. James, T. Tebow.
I know next season will bring the same battles we got into from last season, so I don't know if I wanna just come back and fight these battles again cause they wore me out this season and really made me want to drop out midseason.
