RB, WR, DEF help for CHAMPIONSHIP (WHIR)

Postby LawTiger30 » Sat Jan 01, 2011 6:07 pm

So I am in a league that plays meaningful games in week 17, and I REALLY want to bring home a championship tomorrow, and have some pretty good options to help me do so (which is a blessing and a curse because of the starting lineup decisions it forces me to make each week).

Pick 2:
Mendenhall @ CLE
Rice vs. CIN
Blount @ NO
BJGE vs. MIA

Pick 3:
C. Johnson vs. MIN (is a GTD but would be an obvious start if he plays)
Garcon vs. TEN (he's about the only one on this list I'm 100% committed to this week)
M. Thomas @ HOU
J. Jones vs. JAC
Boldin vs. CIN

Pick 1:
NO (vs. TB)
STL (@ SEA)

Leave a link and I'll help you too. Thanks.

Thanks for helpin me out before man.

If I were you, I'd go with Rice and Blount (My exact starting RBs) Who knows how long Mendenhall will be in for ya know.

As for WRs go with Megatron, Garcon, and Jacoby Jones (Shaub has to throw to someone)

Good luck!

Out of the first group, I would go Blount and Rice. I like to go with guys on teams who have something to play for in week 17 if I can, but I really think TB is going to give it their best shot. So Blount looks good.

Of the second group, if Johnson can't go I would play Garcon, Jones and Boldin. I'd be wary of Jax's WRs this week because they will be playing a backup QB. If Johnson can go, sit Boldin. It seems to me that he hasn't been having a huge second half of the season.

The defenses are a tough call. STL is traveling west, which I usually don't like. But, SEA is probably going to be starting a backup QB, and STL will be getting after it in the win-or-go-home scenario. NO is playing against a better team than STL and one that would probably like to play the spoiler role if they could, but they are at home. I think I would go with STL.
