Dave Barry's 2010 Year in Review

I've been reading humor columnist Dave Barry since the mid-80's (he even came to speak to my graduating class at Coral Shores High School in 1988!). He's not everyone's cup of tea but I like his style. Originally with the Miami Herald, he writes for WP now.

Commenting as I read:

Nice, but I'll take exception to his Jersey Shore comment. I have several relatives that live down there and the great Bobby Clarke lives there who gave me Stanley Cup tickets this past year. But I'm quite certain he was referring to the phenominom that is the MTV cult hit featuring The Situation, Snooki, J-Wow, Paulie D, and the rest. Even still, it's a great show. It reminds me a lot of what I did as a kid - drinking, partying, dancing, loving, fighting. J-Wow just went after Sammi again in the season premier this week, so I can't wait to see what happens on the next episode.

Not a big fan of his, but he does have some real good advice at times - like "Never take a laxative and a sleeping pill on the same night".
