Rivers shouldn't be #1 tier. Even if he gets VJax and Gates back, who knows about the other positions. The Chargers have regressed each year, and I'm still not sold on him. Also, with Oakland and KC getting better, there are less stat-padding opportunities. John Fox should be able to improve the league's worst defense.
During next year's draft, I would absolutely target Freeman. Williams, Benn, and Blount are just going to get better and actually put up some points. Plus, he gets the rushing yards to make up in difference.

Agreed about Freeman. Be careful, though- that 5TD game late in the season has ppl's hopes up. Prices are far higher than you'd expect for him in dynasties and keepers. He recently went in the 9th in a Cafe mock.

I want a prehensile sucker tail, and I don't want to wait fifty million years.
That is a very solid RB list. Although, I would rather take all the rookies and non-list players before tier 8 (minus Portis). Might as well start getting back ups like Tolbert or Torain's back up in WAS.

What exactly about him throwing for over 4000 yards each of the last three seasons (almost 5000 this year) and having a TD/INT of 92/33 during that span has you "still not sold on him"?

Can't agree that all of tier-8 is garbage- Hillis is in the running for Madden Curse, and coaches have already expressed interest in making a tandem backfield with Hardesty. McGahee may end up getting a prominent (maybe even sole) RB role with another team. Scott could have a shot at the starting role in cinci- at least, I'm want him because others think that, giving him trade value.
