That's a tough one....

Your keepers could definitely use some upgrading... and you would have a fine pair of RBs for a few years. Obviously both Gore and SJax are getting older and have some wear on the tires, so making the trade is more of a "win now" mode.

The flipside is the breakout of DMac and the allure of the 1.1 spot. The rookie RB class looks to be kind of weak this year, while WR is very solid. Without knowing who will be drafted where, that 1.1 looks like either Mark Ingram or Julio Jones.

I guess that I would do the deal, as I would rather "win now" than "save for the future". Maybe you can look to get younger with a mid-season trade of one of your pickups if you are concerned with age... but I would rather go into 2011 with Gore/SJax over DMac/rookie.

plz take a look at mine... thanks. viewtopic.php?t=489760

I think Indibuck hit it on the head with his summary. Personally, I'd do it to win now.

i think I would stay put. I would stick with the young Mcfadden and the first pick. Gore and S JAX are very risky. The are both getting up there in age and have a lot of miles on them. I could see them really dropping off after this year.

I think you have to turn down the trade. For no other reason, as your team cannot compete even with two Rb's next year, so getting two guys to help now with the state of the rest of your roster don't see how it helps you.

I don't see 8 keepers on your team....even in a 14 team league:

Eli - below ave qb in 14 team league (8-12)
McFadden - don't like him but he's the best you have
S Greene - with LT back another year see him as limited
maybe M Bush....

Other than that the rest are waiver wire guys.....so keep your pick and take BPA...as long as they are young!!
