I'm so pumped for this draft, and coming year. We made history this year, and our terrible running game actually made a run that made history!

I do not see great things this year. We were a 7-9 team and have a low 1st round pick. We have needs in many areas. Lets see what FA brings before I start to have good thoughts for the 2011 season.

I'm interested to see if Schneider and Carroll can repeat their success in the draft. One thing they also did extremely well is brand themselves as taking a chance on folks, giving them a real shot to play and revitalize their careers. This means that some of those underperforming guys might pick Seattle first in FA. I think because of the uncertainty of the CBA there were a lot of contracts that ended too, so there are a lot of people out there to pick from. But Seattle still has a lot of holes, most notably at QB and O-line although we can't forget about the D-line depth as well.

At #25 I'm really hoping we go one of three different ways:

1. Colin Kaepernick: Every time I read something about this guy he sounds more and more amazing. Check out some of his youtube videos, or read through some of his college records--they seem fantastic.

2. Brandon Harris: With Kelly Jennings heading to free agency (and no reason why we would re-sign him) and Marcus Trufant looking more and more burnable, we need someone to step into one starting position now and possibly the other as soon as 2012. Harris is a good late-1st pick due to his size and ability.

3. Mike Pouncey: I think most mocks don't have him going to us but this one makes sense. Put him next to Okung and let them work their magic. We need someone on that LG spot that won't fall on Okung's damn ankle. (This could also be Robert Gallery too, although we could use him as well as Pouncey for sure.)

Yeah, i'm kinda disappointed at the lack of picks we have in this years draft. I don't really know who's set to hit free agency. Last years draft Carroll and Schneider did surprise me last year at their great success (although I hated the LenWhale White move from the start). I'm sure Schneider and Carroll will unleash their magic again this offseason.

I'm really hoping they fix the DB position. Trufant isn't as great as he used to be, and Jennings just sucks. I miss Josh Wilson. Earl Thomas is a player I'm really excited for, and hope he develops into a scary safety. They've put of the QB situation for too long. Whitehurst is close to being a lost cause. And yeah, both lines both need considerable help.

As far as the first round pick, I'm still unsure who too look for. I'd be happy with a CB, DT, DE or QB. I'm not too fond of any QB's in this years draft, Locker might be the only one I'd be contempt with.
