Dynasty: Jeremy Maclin vs. Jahvid Best

Standard non-PPR scoring format. Dynasty league. We only have to start a minimum of 1 RB per week if we choose. WRs and TEs count as the same position. I normally start Ray Rice and 4 pass catchers with my current roster.

I've been offered Jahvid Best for Jeremy Maclin

should I accept the trade or hold on to Maclin?

my roster:

QB: Kevin Kolb, Matt Cassel, David Garrard, Vince Young
RB: Ray Rice, Pierre Thomas, Tim Hightower, Deji Karim, James Davis
WR/TE: Calvin Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, Jeremy Maclin, Jacoby Ford, Brent Celek, Mohamed Massaquoi, Anthony Gonzalez, Louis Murphy

I have the 5th pick in each draft round and plan on adding RB/QB

keep Maclin, with Vick and going up against the #2 CB on the opposing team he should breakout this year. Best is really fragile and isn't as valuable since it's non-ppr.

Even though Best basically had 1 good week and a lot of meh last year, he only scored 19 less points in non-PPR. If Best is healthy, he'll probably score more points.

Keep Maclin! Find another route to fix your backfield.

Best is too fragile to play in his division. If the Lions are for real, that means they have to be ready to play hard in Lambeau and Soldier in the cold. If it comes to that, Leshoure will get the rock.

I ended up keeping Jeremy Maclin, a player I know will be solid for the next ten years.

Jahvid Best has enormous upside, but I just can't take that chance right now given the circumstances.

If you had one more stud WR I would have done this deal in a second. But you didn't, so you made the wisest choice IMO and I love Best.
