I wish I could give more commentary about this stuff, which rookies I like, don't like, love, hate, etc, but when you have numerous drafts that have yet to start and everyone in the league visits here it makes it more difficult At least until I finished my drafts lol. I just know that this isn't the greatest draft in terms of value. Then again, the RB class of 2008 and the WR class of 2009, you can tend to get spoiled.

1-3 Green/Ingram/Julio 4-7 Williams/Thomas/Leshoure/Little 8-24 A whole bunch of guys, pick your favorite, including Hankerson/Hunter down to VBrown/Powell/Salas 25 - Sleepers and handcuffs, and 1st/2nd round QBs
I think it's deep in that late 2nds are decent prospects, but it's not deep in that after the first 3 guys no one instills a lot of confidence.
1 guy I am staying away from like the plague though in dynasties drafts is Shane Vereen, and he's been going so early that it won't matter anyway. It's sad because I was a big fan of his entering the draft but he landed in the worst possible position IMO. I just think on a team like Atlanta, where he could be the lightning to Turner would be perfect and give him a consistent role.
You don't know what your gonna get with him on the Pats and by all accounts he'll be a guy who is much better in real life then he is in the fantasy world. They also drafted Ridley, still have BGE and Woodhead who both produced last year. Maybe some of them get cut, but I don't feel like playing the guessing game with Bill. Look at how owners were teased with Hernandez and Gronkowski last year. As soon as you think you have the right guy....
Besides it's not like he's Corey Dillon where he is gonna dominate carries. If he's their new Kevin Faulk is that ever gonna be more then a RB3, ever? Is that really worth a 1st round pick? He's not the same athlete or talent that Javhid Best was, but will fit in perfectly in that role, but I don't see him getting the consistency, or workload to be productive. There are far too many other RB's in this class, while not as talented as Vereen is they have a chance at some point to be big time RB's for their team. I don't see that with him even in a best case scenario in New England.

thriftyrocker wrote:1.6 person said it was a "need" pick. Tried to trade down for a half second. Best QB was Cutler.
I was the one who took him at 2.12. Don't love him, but he dropped far enough it was worth it. Only valuable QB was Peyton.
Yeh, 1.06 seemed a little early but sometimes ya gotta address need, I was surprised no QB was taken until 2.12 in our draft - then ya look at iamgregg's league and they had a big run on QB's in the 2nd round. '
