Dynasty: Trade Mendy/FJones for JCharles???

Looking for some thoughts on a possible dynasty deal. We keep everyone on our team each year. Standard Yahoo scoring PLUS 0.5 pts per catch.

I give up Mendenhall and Felix Jones for JCharles (and I can probably get another player tossed in). It might sound like a lot to give but look at my roster.

We start 3 WRs, 2 RBs, and 1 RB/WR flex.... my main guys are -

WRs - AJohnson, Jennings, MWilliams (TB), Colston, Maclin
RBs- APeterson, CJohnson, Mendy, FJones, Tolbert

I feel that FJones is never going to be an elite #1. Even if Barber is gone I believe Dallas drafted another RB... and there is always the injury concern for Jones every year. Plus it will be hard for him to ever crack the RB starting lineup.

Even with the timeshare last year with TJones... Charles still posted big numbers and with our scoring he still outscored Mendy by 30 points for the season.

Bye weeks aren't really a concern because I can roll with 4 WRs... I have good reception guys.

I think the trade is a good one.

I would have to assume if you do this deal you will plug Charles in to the flex spot...which gives you 3 of the 4 top RBs in fantasy every week.

Quick update on deal...

I don't have many holes in the lineup... also have Rivers and Witten but my backup TE is Tamme, who seems worthless now that Clark is back.

The other team has TEs of Cooley and ZMiller and he said he'd add 1 to the deal! Even better!!

Who should I take to pair with Witten??

Miller is a much better backup in dynasty due to age/ upside

Considering you sold him for less than this in another league, can you elaborate on that?

Are you guessing higher workload will bring lower YPC?

I can definitely see KCC not being as good a team this year as far as W-L, but I don't see Charles becoming a worse RB.
