Nobody should be playing a FCFS anymore.

It's not fair, and has little to do with skill, and everything to do with availability. Why punish the guy who doesn't have consistent internet connection, or has a family, or wants to go to a bar and watch the games?

No need to play FCFS as mentioned. The question should be:
WW - Last to first
or
WW - Blind bidding

I loved what one league did where waivers were processed Thursday morning, and then all the guys dropped on waiver requests were available FCFS at 11 AM. It was like Black Friday every week.

Still a fan of FCFS, those that say they cannot access a computer, forget they have on in their hand called their smartphone. Also gives the advantage to those that actually watch the games live...they see a player have a great half and want to grab them early, they can.

Really depends on size of the league as well.

What kind of internet are you using lol (probably comcast)? I wouldn't be paying for that anything that goes out more than once every 6 months.

Who really wants to go through that trouble? To be trying to add players from your phone during the whole game, because you literally have to drop everything your doing to do so. What about the guys who play fantasy football who have kids running around the house? Why should they not be able to have the same chances at players compared to the young single guy who can have the time to sit in front of the tv? Nothing about it is fair, and this is coming from someone who played in it a bunch of years and destroyed the system picking players up before anyone and trading them tuesday morning for proven studs who were in a slump.

That's not what I meant by consistent internet connection, as in going in and out. I meant the guy who doesn't have internet at his house, he uses the library, or the colleges computer labs. Most closed on Sundays. Why do those guys not get the same advantages? They would constantly be at a disadvantage and they may have known about the player at the same time, but fantasy football isn't about who has the fastest internet connection, or the most free time.
