PLEASE RATE MY TEAM, WHIR!

Postby illad3lph » Tue Jul 05, 2011 5:24 pm

I am in a 12 team, PPR league. There are 25 total roster spots and the starting lineup requirements are 1 QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1 TE, 2 Flex (RB/WR/TE), 1 K, 1 DEF. Here is my lineup with bye week in parenthesis.

QBs
Michael Vick (7)
Ben Roethlisberger (11)
Eli Manning (7)

RBs
Jamaal Charles (6)
Lesean McCoy (7)
Ryan Mathews (6)
Ryan Torain (5)
Ricky Williams (5)
Bernard Scott (7)
Christopher Ivory (11)
Alex Green (8)

WRs
Calvin Johnson (9)
Larry Fitzgerald (6)
Brandon Marshall (5)
Danny Amendola (5)
Lance Moore (11)
Jerome Simpson (7)
Jason Hill (9)
Jabar Gaffney (6)
Vincent Brown (6)

TEs
Jermichael Finley (8)
Rob Gronkowski (7)
Jared Cook (6)
Aaron Hernandez (7)

K
Nate Kaeding

I don't have a defense yet, but other than that...any areas you would recommend improving upon. Just to throw some names out, some top RBs in FA include Justin Forsett and Keiland Williams. For FA WRs, there are Devery Henderson and Michael Jenkins. Please let me know if I should add one or trade someone. I will quickly respond to yours. Thank you.

This team is very strong for a 12 team PPR. I could see potentially moving Roethlisberger with anyone outside of your top 2 RBs (Jamaal Charles, Lesean McCoy) or top 3 WRs (Calvin Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, Brandon Marshall) to try to upgrade your second flex spot. I'm not sure that this is something worth pursuing at this point in though. Moving Big Ben does come with some inherent risk. I assume that you went for your backup quarter back decently early because of Vick's injury liability. That plan has merit, and probably best left alone because you have enough talent to keep that depth.

Matthews could deliver what was expected of him last year should he remain healthy. Tolbert may vulture some TD's, and Ryan Matthews still is an injury risk, which makes me nervous, but Matthews could easily end up as a RB2. Amendola could likely shore up your 2nd flex spot if he fills the Welker role in the Josh McD offensive schemes of St. Louis. He could be catching 100 passes this year.

Your roster is unique because you are very deep at every single position, even QB and TE. You have several legitimate top tier options, so its not as if you need to trade that depth for studs.

Solid team ;-D

I count 4-5 potential 1st rounders on your squad. Doesn't seem possible.

It really doesn't. This would be a great squad in a 10 team format. Is it a keeper league maybe?

If I had to nitpick I'd talk about Brandon Marshall, but he has the potential to turn it around in Miami. Probably won't, but it's not outside the realm of possibility.

Seriously, how is this team possible in a 12 team ppr league? You don't need to bother asking people to rate it. It is not possible that any other team in the league is even close to this.
