Hines Ward DUI

Must be getting closer to a lock-out resolution, because the players are starting to get into preseason legal mishaps. The much heralded Tucker Patch reports that Heineken Ward was arrested for DUI early Saturday morning:

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward's DUI arrest occurred near the intersection of Buford Highway and Briarwood Road, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitition....
Ward was stopped about 2:30 a.m. Saturday after a DeKalb officer noticed Ward, in his Aston Martin, failing to maintain a lane and then hitting a curb.
Ward, a former University of Georgia star, failed a field sobriety test, and refused to take a breathalyzer test. He told officers he been at a downtown club, and had had two drinks.

Heineken, Heineken, Heineken. If there are only two things to take from this its' this: Nothing good ever happens at Buford and Briarwood after midnight, and buzzed driving is drunk driving.
Oh, and a third. Never, ever say that you "only had two drinks" Its a dead givaway and has never worked for anyone.

Sure it's not as tittlating as Big Ben trolling for drunk chicks, clearly evidence of how the lock-out is affecting players performance.

Braylon didnt get suspended last year for his DUI... Who knows with the new CBA though...

I don't think he has had many problems in the past. He should be fine for the year. I love heinken ward
