So, I am in a keeper league PPR(.5 pts per reception) I am keeping AP and I also was planning on keeping MJD. I have a trade offer for Roddy White, but I would have to give up my 1rd pick(10th overall) for R. White and 39th overall pick. So I would be keeping AP and Roddy White.
MJD has me leary this year with his knee and Rashad waiting in the wings. I like Roddy better than MJD, however I do not like the trade. You are essentially giving up MJD and your first round pick for Roddy.
NO WAY!
Roll with AP, MJD, and the BPA with your 10th overall.
I was thinking the same, I originally had offered my 1st and 3rd for Roddy and his second. He picks 9th and its a snake draft, so basically he would be jumping me in the first 2 rounds and have back to back picks. But he didnt sound too interested, he isnt planning on keeping Roddy so i dont wanna sell the farm for him, eventhough it is extremely unlikely he drops to the 10th pick.

Do you have a feel for who will not be kept? I think we've got a fair amount of guys that could be considered number 1 wideouts: CJ, AJ, Jennings, White, Fitz, Wayne, Nicks, and maybe even Wallace. Between these guys, RBs/QBs people want to keep, you SHOULD have someone available to take as a WR1 at 10th. Besides, AP and MJD is a strong 1-2 punch at RB and is a great way to start your team for the next season. That's strong enough to make up for not have a top 10 WR1 if that were to happen. I don't think you should do the trade and definitely should go for the BPA guy at 10th, which should be a solid WR1 at worst. Good luck out there.

I would roll with what you have and take BPA at 1.10... you're right, there's no way its White, but AP/MJD is a damn good start, especially since you have a high second pick as well.
AP MJD give you the best chance to win this season, and your 1st pick will net you a WR pretty close to Roddy I'd bet. No reason to start out with 2 keepers just as good and missing a 1st rd pick.
