Hey guys, Im officially addicted to fantasy football and took over another dynasty league. Its a 12 team PPR league. I have the number 9 pick in the rookie draft but im not sure what I have as far as the other rounds go. What moves should I make to my roster as of now?
QB-Delhomme, Eli Manning, Schaub RB-Greene, Hardesty, Jacobs, Thomas Jones, LaFell WR-Floyd, Breaston, Burleson, Cotchery, Santana Moss, N.Washington, Welker TE-Vernon Davis, Tony Gonzalez K-Longwell DEF-Houston, Minnesota
I also have Willie Parker but I'm not sure who he is, I checked yahoo and nfl with no luck. Any insight?
Willie Parker is a former NFL running back who is currently playing for the Virginia Destroyers. Parker has allegedly wanted to go back to the NFL but he is currently not rostered. He will be 31 in November.
You have a couple decent RBs in Greene and Jacobs, and Hardesty could become valuable should Hillis falter. Welker is a solid PPR wide receiver. Moss and Floyd could have value depending on where they end up via free agency.
As far as potential moves, I would move Eli or Schaub for RB or WR help. The next thing I would do is try to trade Tony Gonzalez to a contender in need of TE help. His days in the NFL are numbered, and he isn't too valuable in a dynasty. However, he may be able to produce usable numbers so I'd try to sell him. If you can't move a QB or Gonzalez, you could move Vernon Davis and try to draft a young TE. Unfortunately there were no first round tight ends drafted this year but you could take a flier on Rudolph, Kendricks, or Housler. I'm not in love with moving Davis but he has value, and if you can get a good offer it is something to consider.

Ah right. Well after the draft I would drop Willie Parker. If you can find a backup QB on the wire, I'd drop Delhomme as well. Delhomme is done. The odds of him starting any where are very slim.
And pretty much sell everyone else to the highest bidders. and maybe even sell the RBs too. With Eli and Davis, you don't have to worry about QB or TE until it becomes a luxury.
I would literally sell every other guy. Get a ton of picks - higher picks next year have more value to you than lower picks this year. For example, a 2012 2nd is better than a 2011 3rd, for your team. So try to trade this season's picks for picks next season as well.
I would try to trade 1.09 with somebody for a future first (next season) that should end up being higher than 1.09.

Our draft is only 2 rounds deep, after that everybody becomes a FA. What should my strategy be for gaining picks? I have no problem coming in last place this year to get the number pick next year.
