Gregg, are you really that upset about missing out on Spann? Yes, he is a favorite of Matt Waldman, but that's about it...he's not on many lists from other scouts & sportswriters of top UDFA. And yea, while there's undrafted players like Arian Foster & LaGarette Blount who can break out, there's far more that bust, and were undrafted for a good reason.

I'll be the first to admit though that unlike many other college players coming into the NFL, (and especially the ones I drafted like Ponder, Powell, Stocker, Bradford, etc.) I've never actually watched Spann play. But unless someone is a Northern Illinois grad, who has?
