What is the yards thing?

I just noticed the thing on my page that says "yards" and has a number after that. What is it for? I seem to have a lot compared to some people who post all the time :-?

It is new - just started about 2 weeks ago. Be sure to check out the announcements section for anything new. The yards are part of the Cafeholics Race.
